When you send your resume, you should send an accompanying Cover Letter. It shows your interest in the job and/or the company and summarize your skills and potential. Cover Letter outlines why you are applying for a specific position, a brief overview of your professional background and what makes you qualified for the job.

Consider including your name and contact information from your resume as a letterhead for a professional look. Single-spaced and Single page recommended.
